Green and cool,
the Fern is on the second floor with an east view looking out to
the deck and one of our ancient black oak trees with its resident
family of woodpeckers.
The faux window painted on the slant ceiling above the queen bed and the tree outside combine to give a feeling of shaded seclusion.
The tapestry curtains framing the sleeping alcove enhance this dramatic effect. The Fern also has a twin daybed to accommodate a third person. The bathroom with walk in shower has recently been redecorated to compliment this quiet and private room.
